Research Consultancy
Colin has worked as a freelance research consultant for a range of national organisations and publications including the BMJ Group, the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain, Renewable Energy Assurance Limited, the European Voice in Standardisation (ANEC) and the General Medical Council. Training
Since 2005 Colin has developed training courses in online research and investigative desk research and delivered those to journalists, campaign staff and policy analysts. He currently delivers regular scheduled courses for NUJ Scotland and Journalism.co.uk. He has also delivered in-house courses for a range of other clients. Journalism
Colin’s work has ranged from an investigation into malpractice in the laser surgery industry to ground-breaking research on pre-hospital care and transfats.
